Bi-annual FFHOA Business Meeting

Board meeting was brought to order at 7:00 pm with board member Randy Brockelman and Lisa Nazer in attendance.  The meeting was also attended by 15 residents of Fishers Farm.  Randy passed out the financial statements from 2005.  Voting has begun on the Shed Amendment to the covenants.  Ballots would also be sent out in the next newsletter to all households. We are hoping to have a final count by October.  A 75% majority is needed to amend the covenants.

Randy asked residents for suggestions on next year’s projects and asked for recommendations on our front signs.  Repair is needed to the signs and the board is looking for estimates from sign companies on the repairs.  Randy would like to add larger rocks (rip raft) to the pond to prevent erosion.

The meeting was then opened up to suggestions and comments from the residents.  One resident thanked the board members for all their hard work and suggested that they get some kind of payment for it.  Discussion leads to waving the FFHOA dues each year for those that serve on the Board.  It was hoped this would be an incentive for residents to volunteer as Board members every year.  The issue would be brought up at the next Bi-annual meeting in January for a vote.

Thank yous went out to the Community Picnic planners:  Jennifer Hartwick, Lisa Higgins, Sara Pata, Kelly Kirsh, Loni Cornwell (for the Pepsi products), Stephanie Harper, & Jesus & Joni Heredia, Mike & Kyndra Chandler, and Randy Brockelman.  The Board would like to thank the parents of Mike and Kyndra Chandler for use of the canopy tent for the picnic.
