Annual Members’ Meeting – 12/10/2003
The FFHOA annual meeting convened at the Cumberland Road Elementary School at

attend. There were eight people in attendance at the meeting.
Mike went over the nominations for the board for 2004. Randy Brockelman accepted his
nomination and will assume the role as board president. He will appoint a treasurer and
secretary to serve with him.
Mike went over the budget in Bob’s absence. Discussed the prior 2002 deficit being
successfully improved to a 2003 surplus. Also went over the 2003 actuals and 2004
budget. Covered various budgetary issues as they came up.
Mike talked about the renovation of the Fishers Farm signage and the huge improvement
made by Randy’s voluntary time in refurbishing the stucco.
Mike made additional reference to the election issue. Since Randy accepted the only
nomination, he (Randy) will appoint the remaining board members.
Additional topics of discussion were:
•
Fixing the lighting at the north entrance – need different kind of lights, i.e., somethat won’t blow out so easily.
•

Construction on south side of community. Mike has talked with that propertymanagement company and they will try to monitor the area to keep the streets
cleaner.
•
Discussed possible improvements to common area at southwest section ofcommunity.
Randy, as Board President for 2004, projected his plans for more visibility and getting
more homeowners interested in the community, e.g., block parties, D2D (door to door)
visits, community events (police, fire [for kids]), etc. Randy is eager to implement his
ideas.
The meeting was adjourned at approximately 8:00 p.m.
