Bi-annual FFHOA Business Meeting.
Meeting was attended by Board members Randy Brockelman, Lisa Nazer and Joni Heredia. Five other residents attended the meeting.
Randy presented a review of the financials from 2005 and the budget for 2006. The budget for 2006 was approved.
Community Work Day in April saved the community around $600. Another Work Day would be planned for 2006 as well as a date for the annual Yard Sale.
A lighting system was added to the South entrance. A new transformer was added to the North entrance and sprinkler controls were replaced. The Community picnic in August was a success and around 60 people attended.
No nominations were sent in so Lisa and Randy agreed to continue as Board members. A new Treasurer was needed for 2006 and the Board is looking for volunteers. A vote was taken and to entice new volunteers to serve on the Board, their FFHOA dues would be waived for the year they serve on the Board. All voted in favor.
We still do not have a majority vote on the Shed Amendment. So far only around 50% of the residents have voted. Totals to date are 41.75% in favor and 15.53% opposed. Chris Harper and Rob Richardson agreed to visit the households of those who have yet to vote and have them sign the ballot. Final voting should be done by April.
Projects approved for 2006 include Rip Raft on the north end of the pond, sidewalk repair, and upgrades on the front entrance signs.
Indy Properties would do the flowers this year at the entrances. Mainscape did not provide good service last year.
