FFHOA Board Meeting
June 28, 2004

Board meeting was called to order at 7:30. In attendance were Randy Brockelman & Lisa Nazer. The treasurer's report was given and accepted. Financials and budgets are provided on the website. The main discussion of the meeting focused on repair and replacement of community mailboxes. The Board came up with three options for residents to choose for their mailboxes. Max Rekowski agreed to do the repair and replacement of mailboxes. His fees for each type of repair were discussed and accepted. He would receive $15 for each new mailbox and $20 for each repaired mailbox. This would include staining the mailbox post, replacing or painting the mailbox and placing the new numbers on the boxes. Logan Street Sign Company in Noblesville agreed to do the numbers for $10 each plus tax. Other fees included the price of the stain, new mailbox and spray paint. Option One was $53 for a new box, Option 2 was $43.50 for repair of the box. This included tax and labor. Option Three gave the residents the option to do the work themselves. Brochures would be sent out immediately and residents were given to the end of October to make the necessary repairs. After that time, the board would review all boxes and ask each resident to make the repairs or it would be done for them and charged to their Homeowners Dues in January. Guidelines for the covenants still needed to be discussed and residents who volunteered to be on the committees were to be called to form a meeting sometime in September. Some of the issues would be fencing on corner lots, trash cans and sheds.

Several problems had occurred with Indy Property. Mulching on the front entrances was not completed until July and then the quality of the work was not up to standard. Mulch depth was not at the standard 2-3 inches deep and payment would be withheld until mulching was satisfactory. Dead plant material had yet to be disposed of behind the front entrance sign.
