Semi-annual Business Meeting for the FFHOA
Board members Randy Brockelman, Sara Pata and Lisa Nazer were in attendance. Approximately 12 other homeowners attended.
Financial statement and budget were discussed. (All Financial records are available on-line) Randy was able to collect delinquent FFHOA dues on a few more homes.
Mulching in May went well but we need the assistance of more homeowners. Discussed splitting the mulching up between Saturday and Sunday. Savings was approximately $500.
Flowers: need to get quotes from other companies.
Shed voting is going slow. Of the 103 homes, only 83 have voted. A language barrier has caused a problem with voting in several homes, others just won’t answer door or letters to vote. Several residents volunteered to help collect votes. Randy will talk to a lawyer about how many homes we actually need, especially since some are in bankruptcy. Discussed changing the covenants to have only 75% of the homeowners voting to have a majority and pass an amendment.
Pond
Weeds in pond, primrose, $540 to spray to rid pond. Still continue to use trapper for muskrats.
One quote for fixing erosion on pond is $17,000. Quote is too expensive, will continue to look for other quotes.
New at-large board members (non-voting positions): Troy Fettinger is sergeant at arms (security) and Jennifer Heidorn is Committee leader and welcome wagon.
